Artist:C215 (London Bricklane)

A symbol of your own monogram, a sign of dominance, to be shown and publicized to your own terrain. Graffiti is known everywhere around the world, whether it is meaningful graphic such like Banksy “graffiti” of people that believe there location is to be owned, with a name or tag. I believe certain graffiti is known as art, a freedom to share to other people in the community and also to the tourist who visit places with the art shown freely like Brick Lane. It can also be known to be a crime, illegal to mark a signature of some sort in private property which is understandable.

Another French artist names C215 who is renowned for his portrait style graffiti, he uses various colours in his artwork and each piece has very precise detail. In the picture I’m using the graffiti style he’s using has a lot of emphasis on detail to faces, he doesn’t make the images too big either but from what we can see its immaculate on the effort put into it. The other graffiti he has below the face is one of a man sitting on a bench, again very detailed and it shows the amount of effort being put into the style he uses and he likes to put these artworks on doors or places which can be easily seen, makes the art a lot easier to be appreciated. He has several pieces around brick lane each quite easy to be found and quite close together, just like the picture above very detailed.

Graffiti such like the signatures of youth pride and certain located areas is strain to believe to be the dominance of youngsters. There mean to show power and awareness of youths being near. Each meaning is to share an importance of one self-power; a mean of “we are here, we are watching, beware” is shared differently depending on individuals being, some being set at a difficult location to be view by all but touched by none. Graffiti is art, wherever you go and see, a meaning to someone and other, but sent in a different formation, a form of remembrance to all that sees.
