Taylor J was born and raised in Tennessee in a broken home
consisting of alcoholics and strangers. Taylor J’s father was the person who
first inspired him to practice photography and art. When Taylor J Left high
school he first was training to become a Chef, he added culinary school and was
even the manager of a local restaurant until he decided that career path did
not feel right. Taylor J converted his basement of his home into a mini studio,
where he would spend hours painting, and expressing his emotions. At the age of
22 Taylor J was a commercial photographer for food but still felt doubt about
his choice of career, so he decided to let go of his fears and create a
photographic images that looked like an expressive painting.
