Artist: Space invader (London Holborn)
Space invader is a French graffiti artist who makes mosaic
style pieces of work displayed around various places around London, this
picture itself clearly shows his prime in the art form and is found in an alley
way in the heart of Holborn. His art is fresh in concept yet simple in style
and creates a timeless piece of art which gets identified in more ways than
one, whether it be association with the game through the name he uses or the
art he creates or it’s the way he displays them either being discreet or in
your face like a few of his other pieces around London. The colours he’s using
in the image aren’t very bright and seem to not bring any attention to the
piece of work itself, being slightly dull in colour adds to the mystery of
finding it hidden in its location though the grey background itself seems to
give the colours a slight sense of vibrancy. It’s pretty big in size when seen
up close and works quite well with the grey background.
